After three years of use, my Purple Limited Edition GHD straighteners finally gave up the ghost last Thursday. I just about managed one week without them, either curling my hair or borrowing a friends straighteners, but I knew I needed GHDs back in my life.
I hadn't realised how much I actually relied on my straighteners, but they are so much better than any other brand I have tried. It takes me less than ten minutes to do my hair, and my hair is quite long and naturally wavy.
So naturally I had to order some GHDs as soon as I could! They are not the cheapest, but when they do such a good job I don't mind paying so much, especially when they also last for such a long time...and as a bonus, they look super pretty!
My favourite colour is purple, hence the GHDs I used to have from the purple limited collection, which came with a matching hairdryer. So if possible I wanted some more purple ones, just to be different to the normal black bog standard hair straighteners.
To my delight there is a Candy collection at the moment which had some purple straighteners in it! Violet ones to be precise! They are super gorgeous! As soon as I saw them, I knew they were the ones I wanted to have for the next three or so years.
I ordered them two days ago, and to my delight they arrived this morning in the post! I cannot wait to use them tomorrow morning! I am super happy with the fast delivery and also the pretty box the straighteners actually come in!
