Tresemme Intense Smoothing Hair Masque

Last week I purchased this hair masque so that I could see how well it works in the look to buying a large pot of a hair masque product. 

My hair goes through a lot with drying it and straightening or curling it everyday, and I need an affordable solution to keeping my hair looking and feeling healthy.

Firstly this masque smelt divine! The packet was of a reasonable size for a travel sachet, and I got two uses out of it. 

After washing my hair like normal I applied the masque and left it for five minutes. I then rinsed it out and did my hair as normal, so that I could truly see if there was any difference.

I could instantly see a change when I was drying my hair, as I had far less fly-away hair and a much smoother looking texture.

Once I straightened my hair, which will then usually look slightly dry and frizzy, due to using too much heat, I could see the difference. My hair was shiny and looked so much healthier. I was amazed!

After one use I couldn't wait to use it again, but I left it a few days because it is never good to use too much heavy product on the hair in a short space of time.

Again after the second use I could see an improvement and my hair felt better for several days after. I think that if i made it a routine of say twice a week it would really help the condition of my hair.

I am going to try out two more hair masques to see how they compare and I will let you know of my final choice to the favourite!

Despite hearing many stories about how amazing this mascara is, I sadly have to disagree. I like the application, and the brush, however the product proved more than difficult to remove, had a strong scent, and irritated my eyes. I would not recommend this product to people with sensitive skin or eyes! It was good to try, unfortunately this product just didn't work for me. Furthermore for a relatively expensive mascara I was even more upset that it wasn't formulated to suit sensitive eyes.

First of all let me just say I love the packaging of this product! It is super pretty, and that is all. Unfortunately I really dislike this mascara. First of all it isn't waterproof enough to even withstand a sneeze and a slight eye water. I found that this mascara did look  good on, but within minutes it would start to create fall out all over my cheeks, which just isn't the look I want to go for. Sadly I also wasted quite a large amount of money on this product. This doesn't put me off Urban Decay products, because I know many are good, sadly this just didn't work for me at all.

This is by far my favourite waterproof mascara that I have ever tried. It is cheap, and does the job. I love this for those really warm days, use on holiday, and those days when you want to have a water fight, but not look eyelash bald! I find this product adds a reasonable amount of length and volume, however not enough I would think for an everyday mascara. Only slightly scented, and good on the eyes, but as always, pretty difficult to remove as a waterproof mascara.

This is probably at least my tenth re-purchase of this fabulous mascara! I love the massive brush which is amazing at making my lashes look full and lengthened. This mascara is a little more costly, however it is definitely worth it in my eyes. The larger bottle also means that you get more formula, which is also a bonus right? This mascara is great at staying on all day without needing a re-application, but at the end of the day it is also very easy to remove, which is a huge plus for me because my eyes are sensitive, and I can't be scrubbing away at my eyes for a long time in attempt to remove the mascara from earlier in the day. A must try mascara!

I really like to use this mascara as a base for lengthening my lashes before using a volumising mascara. I also love this for my bottom lashes because of the thin brush applicator. I wish that each of these mascaras held more formula, because I often have to re-purchase these. Luckily NYC makeup is very fairly priced so it isn't a huge splurge to spend money on this mascara. I find it can double the length of my lashes, without any clumping or looking to fake and too black. This mascara hardly has any scent, and it is easy to remove. A great mascara that I would definitely recommend!

I purchased this mascara about 6 months ago from America, and I loved it while it lasted. I feel that the formula dried up pretty quickly in the bottle, meaning that I didn't get as much use out of it as I would have liked too. However, while the formula was good I absolutely loved it! I really like this style of brush, and find it is great for both lengthening and volumising my lashes. A slight downfall with this product is the smell. I find it has a very strong chemical makeup smell, which annoyed me slightly, however this did not affect the product on my very sensitive skin and eyes. A very easy to remove mascara, and definitely a mascara that I would recommend and re-purchase! Unfortunately this isn't widely available in the UK, so i'll have to do some online shopping in order to purchase it again!

Easy to do, and cheap! All you need is a few pieces of newspaper, some perfume and a coloured polish!

GHD | IV Violet Professional Styler

After three years of use, my Purple Limited Edition GHD straighteners finally gave up the ghost last Thursday. I just about managed one week without them, either curling my hair or borrowing a friends straighteners, but I knew I needed GHDs back in my life.

I hadn't realised how much I actually relied on my straighteners, but they are so much better than any other brand I have tried. It takes me less than ten minutes to do my hair, and my hair is quite long and naturally wavy.

So naturally I had to order some GHDs as soon as I could! They are not the cheapest, but when they do such a good job I don't mind paying so much, especially when they also last for such a long time...and as a bonus, they look super pretty!

My favourite colour is purple, hence the GHDs I used to have from the purple limited collection, which came with a matching hairdryer. So if possible I wanted some more purple ones, just to be different to the normal black bog standard hair straighteners.

To my delight there is a Candy collection at the moment which had some purple straighteners in it! Violet ones to be precise! They are super gorgeous! As soon as I saw them, I knew they were the ones I wanted to have for the next three or so years.

I ordered them two days ago, and to my delight they arrived this morning in the post! I cannot wait to use them tomorrow morning! I am super happy with the fast delivery and also the pretty box the straighteners actually come in!

I purchased this BB Cream just over a week ago, and I already had high expectations of it. When I was in the shop Boots I tested all of the possible BB Creams, and this was by far the best I tested. I hadn't used a BB Cream until recently because I didn't want it to take the place of my moisturizer in my daily routine. But boy was I missing out! I can't get enough of this amazing product. If I am having a seriously dry skin day, it works perfectly fine over a moisturizer, otherwise it is very moisturizing in itself. The colour blends to suit your skin tone, and it has just the right amount of coverage. I don't like using foundation on my skin, just because I can never match the colour or get the right coverage, so I love using this BB Cream and then adding a small amount of powder on top to set it for the day. It lasts throughout the day, which is great for someone working or at college like me, where you don't have time to check your face still looks okay. Just a small thing to remember when purchasing this product is that it is only available in 3 tones, and even though I have rather tanned and olive skin for an English person, I needed the lightest shade. Using this product was a huge breakthrough for me and I will definitely be repurchasing! Let me know if you have any favourite BB Creams that are worth a try, at a sensible drug store cost!
